Welcome to one of the most heartwarming corners of our festival
—Pets, Ponies, and Hometown Heroes!
This special section brings together our beloved animals and brave hometown heroes for a one-of-a-kind experience the whole family will enjoy.
Whether you’re here to thank a first responder, learn more about military service, or simply pet a goat and ride a pony—we’ve got something for every age

Hometown Heroes: Veterans & First Responders
Our Hometown Heroes area was created to honor and celebrate the incredible local heroes who keep our communities safe. This space recognizes:
-
Active duty military personnel
-
Veterans
-
Local police officers
-
Firefighters
-
EMS teams
-
Search & rescue units
Not only is this a time to thank them, but it’s also a connection zone where each
group shares what they’re working on, provides recruitment info, and builds
relationships with the community they serve.
Proud. Grateful. Inspired. Come shake a hero’s hand and learn more about how you (or your kids!) can one day follow in their boots.
If you’re a veteran group, first responder team, or military organization and would like to join our Hometown Heroes area, reach out today! Spaces are free and fill fast.

This area brings smiles to every face and helps foster early appreciation for animals, kindness, and care. All animals are safely handled by trained staff, and rides are supervised.
