Traditional German Dance and Music
Step into the heart of tradition at the German Town Stage inside German Town at the new Green Street market. Here you’ll experience authentic German dances, lively polka music, and colorful performances that celebrate Bavarian culture. From energetic folk routines to classic dance groups in traditional attire, the lineup brings the sights and sounds of Germany right to Lee’s Summit. Presented by Complete Weddings + Events KC.

The Wagon Parade is a delightful spectacle for the whole family! Hand-pulled wagons decorated with festive flair wind through the festival, and kids will love the chance to catch candy tossed along the route. With music, costumes, and community spirit, it’s a sweet and memorable part of the celebration. The parade route runs through Third Street and ends at Green Street. Sponsored by Dyer Oil Graphics.

Raise a glass to local talent at the Oktoberfest Home Brew Competition! Area brewers showcase their best creations, from crisp lagers to bold ales, all competing for top honors. The Oktoberfest Fashion Faceoff is your chance to show off your best Bavarian style! Dress in your lederhosen or dirndl and take the stage for a fun-filled contest celebrating festive flair. With plenty of laughs, cheers, and prizes, it’s a lively tradition that brings out the spirit of Oktoberfest. This competition takes place at the German Town Stage inside the new Green Street market.

Test your strength and stamina in the Oktoberfest Stein Hoisting Competition! Participants hold a full stein of beer at arm’s length for as long as they can, battling it out to see who has the best endurance. It’s a crowd-favorite event full of cheers, bragging rights, and plenty of Oktoberfest spirit. This competition takes place on the German Town Stage inside the Green Street market. Test your skills on the Oktoberfest Ninja Obstacle Course! Experience a true Ninja Warrior workout as you jump, balance, and climb across challenging inflated surfaces—it's trickier than it looks! Finish strong with a thrilling ride down the slide and celebrate conquering the course. This fun bounce house is located at the end of SE Main Street, in front of the Chamber Depot. Please note: This course is intended for children ages 4-10 only.
